01Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the website of Counter Strike Firearms Training (CSFT) or enrolling in any of our training programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services or participate in our training programs.
02Eligibility and Prerequisites
Participants in firearms and security training must meet the legal requirements set forth by South African law. By booking a course, you declare that you:
- Are of sound mind and physically capable of handling firearms safely.
- Are not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing medication.
- Are not legally prohibited from possessing or handling a firearm.
CSFT reserves the right to request valid proof of identification, clean criminal records, or medical clearance where deemed necessary before or during training.
03Safety Protocols and Conduct
Safety is non-negotiable. All participants must strictly adhere to the rules and instructions provided by our Range Officers and instructors at all times.
Zero Tolerance Policy:
Any unsafe handling of firearms, failure to follow instructions, or exhibiting aggressive/unstable behavior will result in immediate removal from the premises without a refund. CSFT holds the absolute right to refuse or terminate service at the instructor's discretion.
04Bookings, Payments, and Cancellations
All training courses require advanced booking and full payment (or a stipulated deposit) to secure your placement.
- Cancellations: Cancellations made within 72 hours of the course date will forfeit the payment. A handling fee will be charged for cancellations.
- No-shows: Failure to attend scheduled training without prior notice will result in a total loss of fees paid.
- Rescheduling by CSFT: We reserve the right to reschedule courses due to extreme weather, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances affecting safety or operational capacity. Alternative dates will be provided.
- Course Completion: All courses must be completed within a 3-month window period.
05PSIRA and Competency Certification
Enrollment in PSIRA (Grades E-A) or specialized firearm competency courses does not guarantee successful certification. Certification is strictly dependent on the candidate passing all required theoretical assessments, practical evaluations, and meeting the legal compliance mandates of the relevant South African authorities.
06Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
Firearms training inherently involves risks, including but not limited to the risk of serious injury, hearing damage, or death. By participating in CSFT programs, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all such risks.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Counter Strike Firearms Training, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, injuries, or losses arising from your participation in our programs, use of our facilities, or deployment of learned tactics off-site.
07Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process personal information strictly for the purposes of course registration, certification processing, and vital communication. All data is handled securely and in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa. We will not sell or distribute your data to unauthorized third parties.
08Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
